Tuesday Nov. 15, new albums are dropping.  Everything from Tegan and Sara to Gym Class Heroes.  And oh yes, radio's favorite Drake with Take Care, I know, I know, I know.  (we don't care).

But we all know there is a new prince in town, that LiL dude with the schizo bars and distracting short shorts Childish Gambino is also dropping CAMP.   His video for his first single"Bonfire" was sick and twisted (WeAin'tMadThough). 

Now watch next year every other black kid is going to want to go to summer camp now....smh these rappers.

 I have no idea how times flies .... I've been caught up laughing at the whole Ray J beat down  lie.  Mo to the E to the ... lol.  (video)

But in music news Childish Gambino is expected to release his album early Nov.  The smack you in ya face track "Bonfire", that he has performed live all summer is now available on i tunes.  Check it out .. make a list of all the sick references and similes he makes so you can to be RAP COOL  or not....WEAIN'TMAD......

ROCK THE BELLS VIDEO

It was blazing hot, seen Jesus Walking Delirious Hot.  RTB artist came through though giving a great show.

You can't have a Hip Hop show without Common.  Not only do he have his own classic songs, he jumped on stage with BlackStar and Nas to perform tracks as well.

The smaller stages were just as lively as the younger kids kept it hyped for Blu, and  CG.

 

Rock The Bells Set Times/Line UP

The weekend is coming near.  Check out the Rock the Bells line up so you can plan on being where you need to be. 

No missing acts because of food and beer runs.  And the friend who ALWAYS has to go to the bathroom, let 'em know they're own their own......... toooo much swag to miss.

What are you doing 8/20,  if it's not attending the Rock the Bells Festival it's probably not important.

RTB has a great mix of old school hip hop, local, and emerging artist.  However, it's wack to show up somewhere unfamiliar with the music so we're going to highlight artist from the official lineup.  

Let's start with Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover aka dude from NBC's "Community".
He is like the new Jamie Foxx.  (All of the Lights Cover).   Get familiar by checking out his tumblr  or download an old mixtape I AM JUST A RAPPER .

Go buy your RTB tickets before you get mad because you missed Nas, Lauryn Hill, Common, Erykah Badu, Raekwon +Ghostface, MobbDeep, and I'm tired of typing but it's over 30 acts.  

The concert hits LA 8/20, Bay Area 8/27, NY 9/3, and Boston 9/10... if the festival is not coming close to your city don't be mad THATSUCKSFORYOU.
